THE INSPIRATION For this new work, inaugurating the theme 29 "Experimental" Pierre GUILLAUME was inspired by the associated strength and energy to Capoeira, this Afro-Brazilian art that combines dance and struggle.
On the Brazilian beach of Itacaré, dancing warriors perform an acrobatic and sunny ballet to the rhythm of berimbau and feverish songs, dazzling the viewer with power, grace and harmony.
THE TECHNIQUE Like the sand dispersed in the wind by the acrobatic movements of the Capoeira dancers at sunset, ITABAÏA is a “hot hesperidic” colored with vanilla and hemp. Its floral-fruity heart releases the dusty green swirls of Jurema Flower shaded with a hint of Maracuja.
