It is a tribute to a long neglected olfactory family "THE ORIENTALS", whose structure is an accord of raw materials built around spicy notes, Vanilla and Patchouli.
This fragrance is characterized by Pepper and Cardamom, and hence the name, in fact Malabar is the region of India where the best spices are produced.


The result is an extremely enveloping and luxuriant fragrance, which gives a feeling of royal pride, the image of distant worlds from which almost unknown smells come. It evokes seduction, the encounter between a "forbidden" woman and a man with a magnetic gaze.
The first successful perfumes of this family were Molinard's Habanita from 1921 and Guerlain's Shalimar from 1925, followed by Opium from YSL and Samsara from Guerlain.
