MORE INFO: The secret is Ambroxan. The formula, C16 H28 O. Also known as Cètalox or Ambrox, depending on the laboratory that reproduces it, Ambroxan is a molecular creation, which comes from biological research.
Developed by Firmenich in 1950 to replace ambergris, a very rare natural secretion of whales, Ambroxan comes in the form of white crystals. It is usually used as a base note in the composition of perfumes, even its aroma is curiously different from its original aspiration.
Its complex structure is renowned for evoking musky, woody and animal notes. A sensuality that recalls the smell of leather. Even though it is a molecular creation, its price is very high.

E' un profumo decisamente particolare. Appena spruzzato si sente appena, ma colpisce per le sue note pulite che dopo qualche secondo si aprono (e cambiano) virando dal puro e cristallino verso un fondo quasi muschiato e lievemente marino. L'effetto finale è in ogni modo sorprendente, rimane sulla pelle con persistenza ma non da alcun fastidio, è sempre vivo come appena spruzzato. E' uno dei pochi profumi che ho acquistato senza provare sulla pelle, le sue note sanno di pulito, di fresco, ma ha un accordo molto femminile. Da provare sicuramente!

Concordo in pieno con Flavia Marisa!!!! Ha espresso in pieno quello che provo anch'io quando indosso questo profumo.
Mi è stato regalato la primavera scorsa in occasione del mio compleanno da una carissima amica che sa bene quanto io sia appassionata di profumi ma che ancora giustamente non ha capito cosa mi piace perché le mie preferenze cambiano in continuazione a seconda dell'umore, del clima, dell'ora, della luna etc.. etc...!!! Così ha pensato di donarmi qualcosa di candido, fresco, delicato ma tenace...... e quando l'ho odorato è stato come ricevere una dolce carezza....
Ogni volta che desidero sentirmi avvolta da una nuvola di seta lo vaporizzo senza parsimonia e la sua incantevole dolcezza mi accompagna fino a sera inebriando chi mi sta intorno senza essere però mai invadente.....
