Musc Ravageur Hair Mist 100ml

Enhancing the magnetic aspect of musk with amber, vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood, at the total exclusion of floral notes, caused a scandal when the perfume first appeared in 2000; but Musc Ravageur is now celebrated, in all its sensuousness, as the Sistine Chapel of Amber Orientals.

The product: Frédéric Malle's Hair Mist is a lighter variation on an original perfume formula, designed to beautify hair with a delicious and delicate freshness.

The fragrance: Enhancing the magnetic aspect of musk with amber, vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood, with the total exclusion of floral notes, caused a scandal when the perfume first appeared in 2000; but Musc Ravageur is now celebrated, in all its sensuality, as the Sistine Chapel of the amber tradition.

The perfumer: Maurice Roucel joined the Chanel laboratories as a chemist in 1973. This self-taught person calls himself an "" "" explorer who wanders the "" "" formulas. At the time, he began to break down and then study each formula, each raw material from a partly aesthetic and partly chemical perspective which is still his strength today. His generous writing is often based on notes of musk, white flowers or amber. This is how he gets an opulent sensuality that is his signature. Maurice Roucel's strong personality allows him to bypass trends. This is how he created Musc Ravageur, a perfume that goes against the fashions of the time, a precursor to all the new ambers that emerged in 2001.

Vittoria Profumi's advice: a fragrance to always wear
