Couto Toothpaste 60ml

The first formula of Couto toothpaste was registered in the city of Porto on June 13, 1932 by Dr. Alberto Ferreira Couto, director of pharmacy.

Created with the intention of limiting the phenomenon of receding gums, it was so successful that even today in Portugal saying "pasta Couto" is synonymous with toothpaste.

Couto was among the first to switch from harsh and irritating powders to a smooth paste with a delicate glycerin base and this special formulation is particularly effective in preventing problems associated with sensitive gums.

Suitable for the daily hygiene of the oral cavity, Couto toothpaste does not contain fluoride and parabens or ingredients of animal origin and is pleasant for its fresh mint taste.


Vittoria Profumi's advice:

Rub the teeth and gums well with a good quality toothbrush, making the toothpaste penetrate the interdental space. Teeth cleaning should be carried out if possible, as well as upon waking and before going to bed, after each meal.

In severe cases, when the state of the gums does not tolerate the use of the toothbrush, Couto Toothpaste can be applied with the tip of the index finger, massaging delicately and leaving it in contact with the mucous membrane for a few minutes.
